First off, don't believe everything you read on the internet. Take 5 minutes to do some research before you buy anything online. As another reviewer said, this tent is not waterproof. If you want a waterproof tent, look for one with a TRAP bottom and get yourself some seem-sealer.However, the fact that it is a canvas-type bottom (the gray fabric) make it so much lighter and smaller than a tent with a tarp bottom. This can be an advantage for hikers backpacking in dry, warm weather.Another note, this is NOT a four-person tent. At most, it is a two-person-and-one-big-dog sized tent. Especially if you are going to be storing anything inside your tent at night (packs, shoes, gear, and whatnot). Jamie831 · Review provided by walmart.comAll Reviews.
