Description

Elizabeth (Rodriguez) Caldwell is a surface designer with a passion for doodling and hand lettering. This ready to hang, gallery-wrapped art piece features the phrase "I am a unique child of God" surrounded by floral designs. Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. With over 14 years spent in the stationery industry, her life is dedicated to creating beautiful art for products that inspire and bring joy to others. Elizabeth landed a job at a stationery company shortly after graduating where she learned all about repeats and product design and knew she had found her calling. This is where her love of mixed media and hand drawn typography was born and flourished. The result is wide acceptance of giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors. The attainable excellence that giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. She holds a degree in graphic design from William paterson University where she was chosen to represent her Alma Mater at Nottingham Trent University in the UK for one year as a design student.
