Trademark Fine Art Ali10762-C3047Gg Rachel Paxton 'Bumble Bee' Canvas

Description

Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. Rachel Paxton's paintings incorporate archetypes of nature and spirituality to explore life's universal rhythms. This ready to hang, gallery-wrapped art piece features a large bumble bee painted over a distressed background. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting. They reveal the fleeting past while reminding us to fully experience the always transient present moment. They juxtapose what can be known with what can never be known. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame. This ready to hang, gallery-wrapped art piece features a large bumble bee painted over a distressed background. The result is wide acceptance of Giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors. The attainable excellence that Giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting. Uncovering memory, the passage of time and our reflections on the cycle of life, the paintings depict an idyllic mystical world.
